Male snakes fight in Gerringong in winter | August 4, 2023 | Illawarra Mercury

A Gerringong resident captured this footage of two male red-bellied black snakes combating for mating rights in late July and sent it to Glen Peacock, Illawarra Snake Catcher. Snakes are more active with the warm winter temperatures.
